Hello
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) practicing in the Wood River Valley. I graduated from The California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco with a masters in transpersonal counseling psychology. During my graduate education, I trained at The Institute for Health and Healing at the California Pacific Medical Center hospitals working with patients living with serious illnesses, such as cancer and autoimmune conditions. I received my bachelor's degree in writing and literature from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and have been a certified yoga teacher since 2001.

Sessions with Cate Cox, LMFT are priced at $400/session with a minimum of 4 sessions to establish continuity of care.
Cate's Story
For five years, I performed as a professional jazz singer in New York City and I utilize my training as a vocalist and psychotherapist to work with individuals in the Wood River Valley. I've worked as a mental health therapist with St. Luke's Mental Health Services and served as a mental health consultant with Higher Ground. I served on the board of The Advocates and currently sit on the board of The Flourish Foundation.
