Neil Crowson, OTD (c) is an occupational therapist specializing in behavioral and mental wellness who is completing his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, building upon his Bachelor's degree in Multidisciplinary Studies combining Health Studies, Psychology, and Education from Boise State University. Neil spent his formative years in Salt Lake City, Utah and across diverse community settings absorbing the rich learning opportunities that youth development, adaptive recreation, and outdoor education have to offer. He spent foundational years at Higher Ground USA coordinating special needs recreation programs, with the National Outdoor Leadership School developing wilderness education expertise, and in adventure camps across New Zealand and the Mountain West, growing his skill set and experience in therapeutic, educational, and community-based settings.

Wood River Wellness Institute is honored to serve as the pilot site for Neil's doctoral field studies and capstone project in partnership with the Mental Wellbeing Initiative of St. Luke's Foundation. Mental Health Occupational Therapy sessions with Neil Crowson, OT candidate, under the supervision of Rene Thomas Smey, OTR/L. are priced at $150 per session.
